Jose & Kristy Wedding in Barcelona

This was my first wedding since being in Barcelona and my first wedding shot on digital.

they were a cool couple, as soon as I entered the bedroom where the bride and her friends were getting ready I could see there would be plenty of scope for good pictures. I would not say they were tipsy but they were definitely lively and getting into the spirit of things. Kristy and her friends are strong personalities,  she is Australian and they are a mix of American and Swedish I believe.

Jose was a nice guy too, he is from Uruguay and his best man from Argentina. I learnt my Spanish In Buenos  Aires and pronounce a lot of words with their particular accent, for them having a British photographer speaking Spanish with the accent of a Porteño was highly  amusing and later when trying to organise the family for shots proved quite useful.

Greek Islands

My friend Andy decided to take the family somewhere different this year, usually Tamariu on the Costa Brava is the favourite annual holiday destination.

For me, now living in Barcelona, the chance to catch up somewhere new was greatly appreciated.

The first week was in Corfu and despite its touristy reputation it was great, mind you we had a cool house well away from any towns, with a couple of beach restaurants within easy, a short work along a lovely beach.

I was very lucky to get the annex which was an old fisherman hut right on the sea. The sea was literally at my window and even with the waves that eventually reached me from the ferries far away, on their way to Albania and the like it, was very peaceful.
